Hello beautiful people! I'm back with another product review and this time it's the "Maybelline Superstay Better Skin Skin-Transforming Foundation" wow that's a mouthful! This is my honest review about the product.
This is what the product looks like. Packaging is made out of a glass bottle with pump and transparent plastic cap.
Front: Aside from the product name, you'll also see the shade name and mine is in Warm Nude 30. It also shows the amount of SPF it contains.
Back: You'll see the shade name again, its claims and of course the drug facts (you can peel the sticky tape to view the complete drug facts).
Below are its claims based on their website
"Longwear foundation that improves skin's appearance every minute you’re in it.
With the antioxidant power of Actyl-C, a more durable form of vitamin C.
For all skin types. Medium to full coverage.
Superstay Better Skin Foundation gives an all-day flawless coverage and better-looking skin in 3 weeks. The foundation reduces the appearance of spots, dullness and uneveness and gives you a brighter, more even and stress-free skin."
Here are the sample swatches.
OVERALL:
I've been using this foundation for a couple of months now and I can say that this foundation is not long wearing. I also didn't notice any "improvement" on my skin at it says on its claims. But what I want about this foundation is that it makes my skin looks natural and it's lightweight even though it has a thick consistency and it sets fast.
Price: around ₱450.00 - ₱500.00
Store: Chedelyn's Cosmetics
Available Shades: 12
Finish: Dewy
30 ml 1.0 fl. oz.
YES:
- It has a thick consistency but it's lightweight on the skin
- Sets fast
- There are 12 shades available
- It has SPF 15
- Product is buildable
- Doesn't have that pungent smell
- It has a pump to dispense product
- Shade name is easy to see
- Non-sticky
NO:
- It's not long wearing (especially if you have oily skin like me)
- It can enhance dry patches on your skin
- It's only available on some online shops here in the Philippines
- It's buildable but it can become cakey so blending is the key
Rating:
★★★★☆

That's a good shade match! It's also a pretty medium coverage I think :)
